Hello Everyone,We're excited to welcome you to the dot.LA Summit, held October 28-29 at the Fairmont Miramar. As part of your registration, we invite you to attend both days of the Summit. Included below, you'll find important details about the event to keep in mind before you arrive and while you're on site.
VALET PARKINGValet parking is available at the Fairmont Miramar. The entrance is on Ocean Avenue, between Wilshire Boulevard and California Avenue.
CHECK IN & PROOF OF VACCINATIONRegistration and check in by concierge begins at 5:00pm on Thursday in the lobby of the Fairmont Miramar and in the hallway by Wedge on Friday at 8:00am.
IMPORTANT: Thank you for providing your proof of vaccination before arriving at the event. In accordance with local guidelines, the Fairmont Miramar will also require Summit attendees to provide proof of vaccination with a matching government-issued ID upon arrival. Please bring proof of vaccination to the Summit. Thank you for your understanding and helping to keep everyone safe.

The Summit will be held on October 28 and 29. We hope you'll join us for both days of programming, networking, and more. The Summit will be paperless, so be on the lookout for QR codes on site and feel free to check the schedule online before arriving.
THURSDAY, OCTOBER 28
Check in begins at 5:00pm — don't forget to bring your proof of vaccination with you to the Summit.

Pitch competition featuring emerging startups in our ecosystem
Adam Arrigo, CEO and Co-Founder of Wave will discuss Music, the Metaverse and the Future of Virtual Entertainment.
Fireside Chat & Live Podcast Taping with Josh Yguado, President and Co-Founder of Jam City, and Spencer Rascoff, Co-Founder and Chair of dot.LA and Pacaso. The discussion will cover what it means to sit at the intersection of traditional entertainment and mobile gaming and why L.A. is the perfect place for this work.

Townhall conversation about rising from the COVID-19 ashes as a thriving startup ecosystem
The Future of Storytelling, in which the Dapper Collectives team will explore the concept of storytelling and how it is shifting in response to changing technology and personal perspectives.
As cryptocurrency, NFTs, and digital assets continue to gain prominence, learn what the future holds and what ecosystem impacts to expect in The Future of Cryptocurrency & Beyond.

Elevating Your Presence as a Woman in Tech - a panel of women in high-level positions in the startup and tech industries will share their experiences to inspire future leaders.
Breaking into the L.A. Startup and Tech Industry - panelists will share advice for anyone on the outside of the ecosystem looking in, with a special focus on individuals from underrepresented communities.
Evolution of Psychedelics - panelists experienced in psychedelic-assisted therapy will discuss their experiences, use-cases, and more to provide a full picture of a changing medical field.
The Evolution of the Digital Landscape in Shaping the Entertainment & Tech World - this session will explore the impact of digital media platforms on entertainers and their audiences.

1:00pm | The dot.LA Startup Awards 2021 will recognize and celebrate L.A.’s most coveted startup pioneers, rising tech companies and disruptive innovators.

Convergence of Tech and Creativity - this fireside chat will explore how technology and creativity are reimagining the way we develop and create new content.
Women Who Paved the Way in Tech - Kara Nortman and Robyn Ward, two leaders who paved the way for increasing opportunities for women in the industry, will discuss their personal and professional journeys.
Building Inclusivity & Diversity: Breaking Barriers in the Startup and Tech Ecosystem - this panel will discuss the need for increased inclusion and diversity in our ecosystem and strategies for those breaking barriers as well as those supporting them.
Meet the Next Gen: Tech & Startups Making an Impact in L.A. - leaders in the tech and startup ecosystem will discuss their strategies for running innovative, engaging companies.

From Founder to CEO - Andrew Chau, Co-Founder and CEO of Boba Guys Inc., and Liah Yoo, Founder and CEO of KraveBeauty, will discuss their transitions from starting companies to leading them.
Telehealth: The New Way to Stay Healthy - speakers will discuss disrupting the regulations around the healthcare industry, what is and is not working, and how to reinvent the system.
An In-Depth Conversation on Venture Investing & Startup Dynamics - featuring two of the leading voices in the industry in Dana Settle, Founding Partner at Greycroft, and Spencer Rascoff, this conversation will explore the L.A. tech scene and venture investing.
The Future of Urban Mobility - this panel will explore how urban mobility continues to evolve, creating new opportunities for change, innovation, and unprecedented advancement.

HEALTH & SAFETYAttendees' health and wellbeing is our highest priority for the Summit, so our protocols follow the latest guidance from federal, state, and local health officials on preventing the transmission of COVID-19. To that end, all attendees will be asked to check-in on arrival for both days of the Summit, masks will be required indoors, and hand sanitizer stations will be placed throughout the venue.
