Join us Wednesday, February 10th at 2:00 p.m. PT for a conversation about the future of content moderation online, in partnership with our legal partner Fenwick.

Scrutiny of how social media sites moderate the posts on their platforms (or don't) has intensified after the January 6th attack on the U.S. Capitol. As lawmakers and others seek ways to curb violent messages and conspiracy theories, there's been a renewed push in Congress to update Section 230 of the Communications Decency Act. The Biden administration's nominee to the U.S. Commerce Department has indicated she supports reforms. As lawmakers consider their next steps, we'll look at how companies on the front lines see the issue. What would a repeal of Section 230 do? How much moderation is enough? How much is too much? And what do the potential changes mean for the future of free speech and the movements that social media has sparked?

Chief Correspondent & Host and Head of Video at dot.LA Kelly O'Grady will kick off the event with a one on one conversation with Craft Ventures Co-Founder and General Partner David Sacks. Following the discussion, dot.LA CEO Sam Adams will speak with Fenwick partners Tyler Newby and Andrew Klungness for a legal perspective.

The event is free. Register here. Space is limited!Following the event, join us on Clubhouse for an after party and continuation of the discussion!
